My mission is to buy and grow a company over the long term. I'm looking for an owner of a well-run company that doesn’t have a leader to succeed him/her. He's likely to be concerned about the future of the business and team that he's spent years carefully building. I'd like to work with this owner to smoothly transition the company so he can harvest the value he's created and know that his business, team and customers will be in capable hands.
My Focus and Background
My leadership approach is servant leadership, something I first learned by watching my parents. I have a passion for working with people to figure out how to better serve customers and accomplish the mission. When we get that right, the long-term financial results follow. I am an experienced business leader with a long-term focus, not an absentee owner or private equity type.
I joined my last company in 2002 after its attempt to IPO fell through because the .com bubble had burst. The company made pricing and business management software systems for small businesses. Together with the founder and the team we turned around the company. Revenue grew by over 375%, productivity doubled and non-owner wage levels increased by up to 500%. We repaid all debt holders, which was a rarity for companies in that time period.
We improved many of our customers’ lives and businesses. The most common reflection that customers would share with us was "I don't know how we did business before using Cyrious. I can't imagine running the business without it."
